Ilona (Majoros) Palasics grew up as a second generation American in Cleveland, Ohio on Buckeye Road. She speaks about growing up in the Hungarian neighborhood on Buckeye Road. Mrs. Palasics was active in working with the elderly by helping them overcome the language barrier. She won a number of awards for her singing and for her community service.
